Chad Peterman is an entrepreneur, author, leadership advocate, and the President and CEO of Peterman Brothers, one of the Midwest’s most prominent family-owned home service companies.

Founded by Chad’s father, Pete Peterman, in 1986, the company began as a one-man HVAC operation in the Indianapolis area. Chad joined the family business in 2011 and assumed leadership in 2015. Alongside his brother, Tyler, he has helped transform Peterman Brothers into a major residential heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical company serving communities throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Chad’s approach to growth is built around a simple belief: a company reaches its full potential when its people are empowered to reach theirs. That philosophy has shaped the culture, leadership development programs, training systems, and long-term growth strategy at Peterman Brothers. The company continues to invest heavily in its team through programs such as Peterman Way Training and Peterman Top Tech Academy, which helps prepare the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

His leadership has earned recognition both inside and outside the home services industry. Chad was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2023 Midwest Award winner, and Peterman Brothers was recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the region’s fastest-growing companies for four consecutive years.

Chad is also the author of The Empowerment Project, a business leadership book focused on building culture-first organizations by developing, supporting, and empowering employees. He is the creator and host of the Can’t Stop the Growth podcast, where he shares practical lessons about entrepreneurship, personal development, leadership, and scaling a successful business.

As co-host of the Home Services VIP Room, Chad brings the perspective of an operator who has experienced the realities of scaling a home service company firsthand. He understands the challenges that come with hiring, training, leadership development, expansion, operational consistency, culture, and maintaining service quality as a business grows.

Alongside Chris Yano, Chad leads candid conversations with the owners, executives, investors, and innovators shaping the future of the trades. His practical, people-first perspective helps move each conversation beyond theory and into the decisions, systems, mistakes, and lessons that home service leaders can apply inside their own companies.
